
Serge Binn
Serge Binn has been an advocate at the Paris bar since 1971. After
developing activity specialized in intellectual property in his own
firm established in 1975, he joined the American firm Oppenheimer
Wolff & Donelly LLP as partner in charge of the Intellectual
Property Department.
He is an HEC graduate and holds a certificate of specialization
in intellectual property law.
Serge Binn acts essentially in the fields of patents, trademarks,
industrial designs, unfair competition, and more particularly in
national and international patent litigation in which he is a specialist
of repute.
Serge Binn is a member of the French Group of AIPPI.
He is the author of various articles relating in particular to parallel
importation of patented products, arbitration in intellectual property
matters, infringement seizure proceedings, international exhaustion
of intellectual property rights, novelty criteria in patent law,
and parasitism.
