
Cyrille Amar
Cyrille Amar is an advocate at the Paris bar. In the firm Binn & Associés,
he is developing activity in giving advice in contract law and intellectual
property law, in particular in the sectors of telecommunications
and new technologies.
Cyrille Amar is also very active in international arbitration matters,
in particular concerning litigation relating to license and technology
transfer agreements.
Until 2003 he was a partner in the American firm Oppenheimer Wolff & Donelly
LLP.
Previously, Cyrille Amar spent about ten years working in the Philips
group as an in-house lawyer. For five years he was legal director
of the Philips group mobile telephony division.
In this position Cyrille Amar acquired broad experience of international
litigation, international business law, and telecommunications law.
A 1989 graduate of the Paris Institut d'Etudes Politiques, public
service section, Cyrille Amar also holds a master's degree in international
law from the Faculty of Aix-en-Provence and is a graduate of the
University of Exeter.
Cyrille Amar is an honorary member of the French Association of
Business Lawyers.
